CONGRATULATIONS to the winners of the 35th Annual Recovery Cup: The RCMP team!
The Recovery Cup was created 35 years ago to promote goodwill and mutual respect between men struggling with addiction and the first responders dedicated to keeping our community safe. This year we had teams representing St. John’s Ambulance, the Canadian Coastguard, the RCMP, Ottawa Firefighters, and Harvest House. The Recovery Cup is a family and community-oriented day that helps the men at Harvest House build positive relationships.
After canceling the Recovery Cup in 2020 and doing a modified event in 2021, it was so wonderful to have the event back in full swing this year! It was a warm and sunny day filled with friendly competition, delicious BBQ, and community fellowship.
