The Redemption Run is an annual race held at the beginning of June in support of Harvest House. The first of three summer events, it began as an opportunity for men in the program to experience the rewards of setting and achieving fitness goals as they run alongside community members who come out to support them. The Redemption Run starts and finishes at Harvest House and includes a post-race pancake breakfast for all race participants and their supporters. This provides community members with a chance to visit Harvest House and interact with residents, raising awareness about the program. Featuring three different race lengths – 5km, 11km, and 21km/half-marathon – the Redemption Run has something for the amateur and experienced runner alike and is a great opportunity to exercise and raise money for charity at the same time!
